Pumpkin Bread with Chocolate Chips

Delicious chocolate chip pumpkin bread for breakfast, dessert, or anytime! And it's perfect for the Thanksgiving season! 

Pumpkin Bread with Chocolate Chips
Prep Time: 30 minutes
Cook Time: 1 hour
Yields: 2- 3 loaves



Ingredients:

3 cups white sugar
1 (15 oz) can pumpkin puree
1 cup vegetable oil
2/3 cup water
4 eggs
3 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 tbsp ground cinnamon
1 tbsp ground nutmeg
2 tsp baking soda
1.5 tsp salt
1 cup milk chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)



Directions:

1. Begin by preheating the oven to 350 F. Grease and flour your 9x5 bread pans.
2. Combine the following ingredients: sugar, pumpkin, oil, water, and eggs and then beat until well combined. In a medium bowl, mix the flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking soda, and salt. Pour the dry ingredients into the pumpkin batter and mix until smooth.
3. Add your chocolate chips or nuts at this time.
4. Bake your loaves for 1 hour. Test the bread to make sure it's done. Cool the bread on a cookie rack.
